Using BCD the dual boot defaults to vista. I want it to default to Xp. Is there a command I can run to make it do that, at the moment I have just renamed the boot dir so dual booting is disabled.
I also tried to use bootmagic, it will start xp np, but if I try to boot to vista, it just hangs with a message, saying "starting Vista" or somethoing like that.

I want to defuilt to xp on dual boot
Bootmagic does not work with Vista. Download VistaBootPro and follow the directions to change the boot default.

Or if you have the Computer icon on your desktop you can right click select Properties, click on the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Button and chose your defaulting operating system, change the time to display the list of OS, etc.

You should be able to set XP as the deafult boot os by running the command 'bcdedit /default {ntldr}' from an elevated command prompt
